Vinayan V: I have been in the animation industry for over 16 years, and since then I loved giving life to my drawings through the magic of animation. The same field experience and my passion for creativity helped me sow the seeds for Prayan Animation Studio Pvt. Ltd. with my friend and partner Remesh Ram. Gradually, the business grew beyond leaps and bounds due to the sheer determination and effort of the team.

Vinayan V: Our priority while taking up any project is client satisfaction. Being said that we ensure timely delivery with the best quality in the industry. That’s the main reason we have clients from the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Australia, and the Middle- East. We have been at the forefront to meet clients’ expectations and are not over-priced like the rest. Crème de la crème is that the top management itself is creative and hence, it is seen in every piece of work.
Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Vinayan V: Securing a project initially was a daunting task. Like every company has a few stumbling blocks, we too faced it and hence commenced an Academy to train students about animation. Gradually, over the years our relationship with foreign clients evolved and we had to expand our teams to reach the pinnacle of glory. There were some moments when we had to roll up our sleeves as the demand for work in a limited timeframe was increasing and we were not in our full capacity by then. However, we overcame by increasing our bandwidth to accommodate our client expectations.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Prayan Animation Studio Pvt. Ltd.?
Vinayan V: Developing more IPs and growing our services exponentially to global markets, open to investments and exploring other trending areas of 3D, Gaming, AR and NFT.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Vinayan V: Sheer determination and hard work is the key to success. If you work whole-heartedy, you are sure to achieve results. When you steer to set up a business, ensure you do proper research, study well and then run the show or all your efforts will go futile.
