What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now

Just about 6 months after we started, my co-founder was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Shortly after, my parents were diagnosed with cancer themselves. As a woman born and brought up in a small town of Patna, I had to overcome my own challenges as an entrepreneur along with looking after my parents, and my business partner. Looking back, those times made me realize my strength and now I am not scared of any adverse situations coming my way anymore, and full of gratitude for the life and success bestowed upon me.

What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs

Be ambitious. I think an ambitious woman can turn the world upside down, but ata very young age, we are taught to give away our ambitions for happiness and discipline in our families. We need to get over this notion and embrace our ambitious self.

To what do you attribute your success

The wonderful people I am blessed in my life with. From my family, which supported me through my journey to my wonderful team members who work day in and out to make Team Pumpkin a success, I cannot be more grateful to God for everyone who I have come across in my life.
