The Daftar is a Coworking Space designed for startups, freelancers, consultants and independent professionals to work in a growth-ready environment. It offers workspace along with all the infrastructural facilities like wifi, conference room, tea/coffee, fully equipped pantry, training room, relaxing zone, power back and much more. We are a diverse community of more than 150000 startup founders, designers, coders, techies, digital marketers, architects supported by mentors, advisors and investors. We offer a great combination of inspiring, lively space and a close knit community where learning, sharing and collaboration never ends. Events like Brainathon, Happy Hours, workshops and Expert Talks add to the charm and life of the place. Presently with two locations in Pune, there’s a lot going on at The Daftar in terms of Expansion, Community Building, Networking Opportunities, creative initiatives and more.

What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now

The biggest challenge was doing something which was very core to us - Community building. It takes a lot of effort & passion to bring people together on a platform, break that ice, make them interact, participate & contribute to the community. After endless experimentation and efforts, we cracked the pulse of community building and here we are at a size of 1500 active members learning & collaborating. The other challenge has been scaling up. Ours is a super capital intensive business hence it became really difficult for us to expand without the support of funds. However, we came up with innovative partnership models with landlords to increase our footprints.

What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs

There was a time when the females didn’t have enough opportunities and they could do little about it. But now, I feel the times have changed, the wave of awareness of the potential that women carry has swept the entire globe.. now the onus is on us women to make the most of it, it’s the time to take the baton, be assertive and learn to exercise our rights both on personal and professional fronts and to create a life we want for ourselves.

To what do you attribute your success

My almighty & the super power who is blessing us throughout, and family, friends, the clients who believed in us and so many well wishers who came from nowhere as blessings in disguise.
