Being a woman-led company presented a lot of challenges early on. The CEO had to learn how the telecom market worked. Technology, in particular, and telecom in general, used to be a male-dominated industry even though strides have been made. However, she remains the only woman CEO of a company working in the solutions and services space.

When she first spotted an opportunity, she had to work overtime to get the systems in place, hire the right talent, and ensure that the company could execute the business opportunity entrusted by clients. Technology changes fast, so staying ahead of the curve and being on toes is crucial.

The CEO challenges her teams to focus not just on day-to-day dealings but also on how technology is evolving to be ready for clients. She considers herself a trailblazing woman who has broken the glass ceilings, and today Rencomm has 500 full-time employees and over 2000 contractors.

Advice for Women Entrepreneurs:

The best advice she can give to any young woman entrepreneur is never to give up. They should follow their passion, work hard, and learn continuously. They shouldn't let anyone talk them out of their dreams.
