Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Nutan Parag Khedekar: It's simple, Hobby converted to passion and passion converted into business. I never thought I would do business in my life but now it just happened. I heard business is all about bearing most of the risk and enjoy doing & getting achievements. And it is happening the same. Business is not destiny or success but its journey.

Nutan Parag Khedekar: Various subjects there are to capture and different ways to create the Photograph. I am specialised in Product photography, Interior photography and food photography. 75% of business and online shoppers rely on product or service imagery and it becomes easy to make decisions. I worked with many well established companies in Bangalore and Pune.

I enjoy being around people so I do portraits of all ages and events photography. I love Nature so I do Bird and Wildlife photography. So I do commercial photography and event photography.

Nutan Parag Khedekar:

Photography is the Art, Practice with passion of taking pictures with camera. Being a Light and life academy's alumna and having a fine art background, I can create picture worth speaking more than a thousand words. I'm trained and prepared to meet challenges so business owners hire a visual solution provider. I always work with client to shoot unique and aesthetic images. I understand clients' exact needs. I just don't click the camera button, Photograph is Art of painting with light. Quality images and client's satisfaction are my priorities.

Business marketing is all about communicating your value. Tapping into the use of commercial photography is an excellent opportunity to create messages for your business that makes you unique.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Nutan Parag Khedekar: Being a married woman and mother of two kids, it was challenging to manage business goals and daily household work. With great support from my husband, I successfully completed my graduation in Professional photography in NIlgiris for more than a year staying away from family in 2018.

Photography as a career or business is a huge investment for education and high end equipment's. And all this after marriage was challenging with respect to time and finance. But it is great learning, being an independent woman and setting inspirational example for my own kids and other women.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Nutan Parag Photography?

Nutan Parag Khedekar: Learning is a constant process of discovery- a life long process. Photography is an art form which needs constant connectivity with new upcoming equipment's and doing best work creatively. I plan small tasks every 6 months.

In the upcoming 5 year I have a vision of having my own creative studio for all commercial shoots. Network is net worth. So I would be having a good network in all major cities of India to grow further for the next 5 years.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Nutan Parag Khedekar: Be passionate. Surround yourself with people who inspire you. Be clear about what you want and what is the purpose of your life. Follow your dreams and make them real. Just go for it...
