Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Ninad Phatarphekar : Transformavens Training and Consulting has been founded by two Indian Navy Veterans with over five decades of experience between them. After our innings with the Indian Navy ended, we decided to give entrepreneurship a shot. We created a platform where we could distil our learning, experience and intellectual capital into experiential programs that are designed to bring about lasting behavioural change.

We have a wide range of unique L&D solutions that we have developed which include Challenge the Status Quo – A workshop on Disruptive Thinking, ‘Shatter the Glass Ceiling – Leadership Excellence for Women Executives’, ‘Lighten your Footprint – Leadership in a VUCA World’ and ‘Make your Presence Felt – Leadership ,Presence’.
We are one of a handful of enterprises that offer ‘Team Coaching’ in India. We have curated a unique facilitative intervention to transform teams into ones that deliver High Performance and High Impact.
We also organise offsite programs at various national and international venues. These customised experiences are designed to take participants out of their comfort zones where they lower their guard and open themselves up to some introspection. A shift in attitude is just a matter of a moment of realisation. And this typically happens when the defences are lowered. ‘Unfurl your Sails - Beat your way to Success’ is one such program which uses a sailboat as a metaphor for an organisation; one which provides a perfect crucible for simulating an organisation. This program is conducted in Mumbai and Goa.
