Nick Kremm, Founder of International Creative Media Collective

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Nick Kremm:  After spending a couple of years working in the media industry, my team and I decided to establish an institution that would serve as a cornerstone for professional development. Our goal is to provide young people with the opportunity to enter this highly competitive market. Leveraging the extensive network of contacts we’ve built over the past three years, we recognized this initiative as a fundamental step in creating pathways for aspiring professionals. This is how we aim to make a meaningful impact and help individuals successfully navigate their way into the industry.

Great Companies: What are the various services provided by International Creative Media Collective

Nick Kremm: We are a versatile association offering a range of services. Our work includes media coverage, and we also organize impactful annual events in the Andalusia region, always with a strong cultural focus. Additionally, we are deeply passionate about media and audiovisual productions. We believe that creating and distributing compelling content is one of the most effective ways to share ideas and spark meaningful conversations.

Great Companies: What makes International Creative Media Collective different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Nick Kremm: We stand out in many unique ways. One of our defining traits is being recognized as the first youth cultural association in the region with such remarkable potential. As we continue to grow, our aspirations extend to expanding on an international scale. To achieve this, we firmly believe that competition is not the answer; instead, the key lies in collaborating with similar organizations and focusing on what unites us: a shared passion for culture.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Nick Kremm: One of the biggest challenges I faced when I first started was dealing with rejection. I was only 16 years old when I started my journey into the business world. At such a young age, it was difficult for others to take me seriously or feel comfortable offering support or funding. Many saw my ambitions as just a fleeting teenage dream that would never amount to anything. Despite these obstacles, I refused to give up. I stayed committed to my vision and remained true to my goals. Over time, through persistence and hard work, I began to earn people’s trust—and that trust has brought me to where I am today.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for International Creative Media Collective?

Nick Kremm: Things have progressed so quickly—it’s almost hard to believe how far we've come in just three years. I have a bold vision for transforming the media industry, focusing on two core pillars: inclusion and funding. These are the fundamental changes I aim to drive through my business. I truly believe ICMC is destined to become something big. Our team’s dedication and passion are the driving forces behind this belief. But it’s not just about hard work—we understand the industry, we’ve built a strategy, and we’re fully committed to seeing this vision through. We won’t stop until we achieve our goal.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Nick Kremm: I always encourage people never to give up. Believing in what you’re doing is crucial. I’ve had countless moments when I considered giving up entirely and walking away from my career in media. But here’s what’s important: the moment you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, that’s often the moment when life surprises you. It’s like a powerful wave breaking through the sky, carrying you further than you ever imagined possible.
