Can you provide us with a description of your business? What was the purpose of starting this business? What issue did it want to solve?

I'm the 4th Generation to enter my Family Owned and Managed Business in Textiles. It was started by my Great-grand Father in Karachi and Mumbai in 1932. With over 85 years of Experience in the Fabric Industry, we manufacture and trade in Premium Cotton and Linen Shirting Fabrics. We cater to a Wide Spectrum of Customers such as Retailers, E-commerce companies, Garment Manufacturers, Designers and Fashion Houses in the Domestic and International Markets.

I entered the business over 8 years ago and continue to grow it and take it to new heights using my Technology background. (Previously worked for 3 years at Pangea3 (a division of Thompson Reuters) for Technology Consulting, Business development and Client management.)

We Pride ourselves on selling the most Premium Fabrics with the Largest Range in the Country. All our Fabrics adhere to Oeko-tex, ISO 9001 & 14001 Standards as well as International Standards of Full Quality Control Assurance. Our fabrics are manufactured using Egyptian and Supima cotton yarns. Each Fabric is carefully selected for Quality, Consistency and Reliability to ensure that our customer gets the Best possible Quality at the most Competitive Price.

What and how are the challenges so far? How did you overcome them?

To bring new technologies and practices to old processes and systems. Although we have been around for so many years, when I entered the business 8 years ago, the processes and systems were non existent. It took time, effort and patience to transform this traditional business into an innovation company in the Textile Industry. I leveraged my past working experience at Pangea3 (a division of Thompson Reuters)as a Technology and Business consultant to incorporate data driven and technology driven practices to this old traditional business.
