Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea? Megha Harkut Laddha: I was passionate about building own designs and see the structure coming up in the city sky-line. Earlier I was in job under architectural firm where I was learning about construction. I decided to explore more and make what I would sketch.Construction industry is a male dominated industry where I had to deal with labor, contractors, vendors and investors. The journey from heels to boats on steel reinforcement has made me very strong and content.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Megha Harkut Laddha: As I said construction is a very male dominated industry and when you talk numbers to you investor and show him that your design can bring the difference in profit, they take some time to believe in you. You have to build credibility and perform consistently to make your base strong. Visiting sites at odd hours , making contractors work as per your instruction and at times firing them for there bad work is something people don't think females can do. They don't except females in perform rude activities which are the need of the business . But eventually your work speaks for itself. Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business? Megha Harkut Laddha: One has to be very smart with finances. I believe one must be persistent and hard working.
