Helper4U is an employment exchange on mobile for uneducated job seekers looking to work in homes as Helpers, nannies, cooks, caregivers etc. We are working to help them connect directly with employers so that they do not get exploited by middlemen or agencies, financially or physically.

What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now

Reaching the uneducated is a challenge in itself as they cannot be reached through newspapers, television or radio, but today we have more than 100000 Helpers registered with us across cities. Then changing the mindset of employers used to hiring through references or agencies was the next big challenge. Today employers understand that hiring through a reference from a society guard or driver allows them to exploit the women job seekers, and they are starting to use online services like ours.

What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs

Do not become an entrepreneur for the glamour of it. It is a long, lonely arduous journey, so jump in only if you have the passion for what you want to do. That alone can make it all worthwhile.
