Hi Tech was promoted in the year 1989 by Mr. Yatin Daftari in a 1800 sq. meter facility in the outskirts of Mumbai (Bombay) India, HITECH RADIATORS PRIVATE LIMITED has grown from its modest beginnings as a manufacturer of fin type radiators and electric panel boards to a world class manufacturer of galvanized fin type radiators and corrugated flat wall tanks, for transformer manufacturers across the globe. The company currently has facilities aggregating 16000 sq. meters and engages 500+ direct and indirect employees. Mr.Yatin Daftari, founding promoter, M.S. from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, U. S. A. has an illustrious career spanning over three decades. He currently fulfils the role of Chairman, overseeing the financial and banking related compliances of the company.

Mr. Kartik Yatin Daftari, joined the company in the year 2002 after graduating with honors in engineering from the University of Bombay. Having started his career at the shop floor, gaining experience in technical as well as managerial aspects of the business, he has worked his way up & currently at the helm of affairs of the company as a Managing Director. He is responsible for the day – to – day operations of the company encompassing all activities.

● 2005: To tap the increasing demand for radiators from the transformer industry, HITECH started its mfg. unit II in Khopoli, Maharashtra, 80 kms from Mumbai to manufacture fin type radiators.

● 2006: Discontinued production of electrical panel boards and changed product profile to concentrate only on production of fin type radiators. HITECH was awarded a certified EXPORT HOUSE status by the Government of India. Radiators manufactured by HITECH exported across the world either directly to transformer manufacturers or indirectly through transformer manufacturers in India.

● 2008: Expansion of the mfg. Unit II in Khopoli & the expansion helped the company achieve production of almost 50 MT per day, heralding it to become one of the leading manufacturers of radiators worldwide.

● 2009: Originally christened Hi-Tech Switchgears Private limited, the promoters changed the name of the company to Hi-Tech Radiators Private limited, so as to reflect the product profile of the company.

● 2010: A reassessment of skill sets and performance evaluation of the management and managerial staff lead to a realigning of responsibilities. A team of highly trained experienced and motivated members became the driving force of the company.

● 2011: HITECH gains approval from top transformer manufacturers across the globe & is recognized as a favored supplier on account of its consistent high quality and timely deliveries.

● 2012: Certified by Power Grid, India for the 765 kV class. HITECH joins the ranks of the limited few to gain this certification in India.

● 2013: HITECH diversified into the business of corrugated and distributed conventional flat walled tanks in order to tap the growing demand for the product. To achieve maximum capacity utilization and effective resource management, the company in record time, shifted all radiator manufacturing activities to the Khopoli mfg. unit II and converted the Rabale mfg. unit I to cater solely to transformer tank manufacturing activities.

● 2014: Sales of HITECH double and consequently the financial ratings of the company improve, thereby paving the road for future expansions.

● 2015: Global sales crossed the 60% mark. Exports now cover 35 countries across the globe.

● 2017: The company invested 5 million dollars to build a world-class captive hot dip galvanizing facility – mfg. unit III. This revolutionized the company’s ability to provide a world class quality product at record delivery time across the globe.

● 2018: HITECH products are now supplied to 45 countries across the world.
