Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Kavitha Manevannan: Often times, I found that snippets of my challenges as a child, the roller coaster that life has been later, and how I overcame them to get to where I am today, inspired many. It gave them the confidence to "choose courage over conflict" when at the brink of critical decision making.

Being a "catalyst" in people's lives, helping them lead a well-balanced, fulfilled and successful life in every aspect, was most fulfilling. I made a bold decision to quit my job when I was right at the peak of my career and took up facilitation and coaching.

Kavitha Manevannan: We started off with Image Consulting and Personal Branding. Now we offer Life Coaching where we take a holistic approach in enabling people to bring a balance in life. We address Health & Fitness, Finance and Career, Relationships and Quality of Life.

Kavitha Manevannan: Well, I'd like to stay my struggles and challenges are things of the past. They no longer haunt me nor distract me.

This does not mean I am immune to challenges. One does have the rug pulled off from under your feet once in a while. My strategy is to firstly take care of the challenge and secondly, look for the opportunities that come along with it.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Style Tangent?

Kavitha Manevannan: Since the transition of the coaching industry from offline to online, the reach has been exponential. I have been able to access clients globally over these past 2 years.

My vision is to enable 100,000 people globally to live a well-balanced, fulfilled and successful life in the next 5 years.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Kavitha Manevannan: The only thing that separates you from Where you are and Where you want to go is What you do!! So have the courage to draw a line in the sand and say " This is Who I am and This is Who I Wanna Be!!
