Challenges Faced During the Journey:
She used to be a public school teacher and faced many challenges when advocating for my students and their families within the traditional system. The main obstacle was realizing that there was no way she was going to be able to make or inspire changes as a teacher within the system. No one listened. No one cared... except for her students and their families. It was very challenging to try to navigate what was best for her students in combination with resources that were available through the district.
Advice for Women Entrepreneurs:
Don't give up. It is challenging and you will get a lot of advice from a lot of different people who think they know the business and are just trying to help, however, you know your business best. Find mentors that believe in YOU, not just your business who will give you insights and confidence into making decisions.
