Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
I never wanted to waste my life being in a wheelchair; I wanted to be independently creative and make my parents feel proud of me. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by technology and computers, exploring the internet. I learned from all the available open resources and never enrolled in any institute or online course. After years of practice, hard work, and dedication, and with the help of the internet & google, I grasped the art of graphic & web designing, multiple IT skills, blogging, and digital marketing. I then eventually turned my passion into my full-time profession.
Today I have my brand in the name of HD THE DESIGNER in Dehradun, Uttarakhand which is graphic and web designing company. In span of 11 years, I have worked with more than 100+ clients all over India along with numerous projects for Govt. of Uttarakhand and few international projects as well.

This world automatically starts considering the differently-abled person as destitute or helpless. In contrast, I believe no person is disabled unless their mind isn't working. It's just that they are differently abled, and even a person with disabilities can make all his dreams come true if they want to. I understood and realized that it is not easy for anyone to spend their whole life in a wheelchair, but we should not lose heart. I never lost my courage and accepted my disability as part of my life and started focusing on other things, changed my weakness into my strength, and made my destination.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What do 5 years down the line look like for HD THE DESIGNER?
The coming 5 years is not a very long time, because time passes quickly. But technology will also evolve a lot in these five years because everything is completely digital in today's era. Our real aim in these five years is to adopt every new technology, tools and provide our customer quality media output always.
I want to expand my brand further and make our offices at different places in the coming time. At the same time, by further enhancing our services, we will also hire new employees to give experience and employment to freshers, by adopting all these technologies, strategies, and innovations.
I also have a vision in to establish an NGO where we could provide free basic computer education to the underprivileged, disabled and financially unstable children or youth so they could make a difference in their life as I did in my life.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting, what would it be?
I have learned from my problems that if God takes one thing from you, he also blesses you with many things. But it is up to you to find these things by yourself. There are always challenges in your life in some way or the other, but you should always be happy with what you have and start working towards your goals to achieve more.
There are many types of people in the world, out of which many people are differently-abled. Beauty does not exist by itself but is created by observers. To all of them I would like to say that keep following your passion, don't think what society thinks about you and keep working hard for your goals and a good day will surely come, success will kiss your feet.
The most important thing is never to doubt yourself because you are good enough, you are not like everyone else, and that is your strength. This life experience leads me towards my goal and will propel me forward.
