On composting, these products will turn into Biomass, water, and CO2, without leaving any toxic residue. Most of Ecolastic’s products contain corn starch which accelerates biodegradation and hence increases the compostability of their products.

Their in-house R&D team has done extensive research and successfully developed these eco-friendly compostable products in collaboration with the Defence Research & Development Organization (“DRDO”), Govt. of India. Ecolastic’s products are certified by the Central Pollution Control Board of India as “Compostable Products” after rigorous testing by CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology), to confirm the IS/ISO 17088 International standard.
