Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea?

Arvind Khinvesra: We are in the business of enhancing human potential. A public speaking training that I had attended in my final year of engineering completely changed me as a person and also had a big impact on my life. Knowing that right coaching can change lives, I always had this dream of helping people find their true potential. I was working as a professional for 22 years, first in manufacturing domain and then in IT. The aha moment happened when one of my cousin sister, during a casual conversation, told me that talking to you solves a lot of problems for us. And this without me giving any solutions. That's what made me realize that i could be a coach to people and help them find their answers.

Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company?

Arvind Khinvesra: I offer 4 kinds of services:

1) Coaching  - Working on specific challenges, both personal and professional with the individual and helping them overcome these by helping them become aware and change their thought processes. These are done both in a person coaching and group coaching environment. 2) Employee Trainings - I help organizations develop their employees' competencies. through corporate trainings in areas of soft skills and project management. 3) Open Workshops - For individuals who want to hone their skills and organizations who may want a few of their employees to be groomed in specific areas. 4) Personal and Group Coaching for Public Speaking and Presentation skills.

Great Companies: Why should one choose you over others in this field?

Arvind Khinvesra: Personal attention and flexible approach. Our offerings are customized according to the clients needs. Also, we adapt our approach according to what our client feels comfortable with. We strongly believe that our clients know all that needs to be done, but are unable to implement because it could be conflicting with their beliefs and values. Our role is to help them identify these and figure out a solution that is aligned to their thought processes. This makes it easy for them to imbibe and implement.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Arvind Khinvesra: Biggest challenge is client expectations. Clients look unto us as consultants than a coach. They expect ready made answers while we help them arrive at their answers. This is a challenge initially as it is against the normal ways of working with a coach they may have experienced earlier. However, after two or three sessions they realize the value of this process and are able to appreciate it. Its takes a while for the clients to realize that "We don't provide solutions, we help them find theirs".

Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business?

Arvind Khinvesra: 1) Learnability - World is changing faster than ever. And what we know today could soon become irrelevant. Businesses that are willing to learn new skills and explore new areas will be more successful. Resting on past laurels and legacy could lead to downfall quicker than expected. 2)Adaptability - Ability to respond to changes around and adapt as per the new paradigm is the key to success. Businesses that are tuned and sensitive to the small changes happening around and structurally able to adjust according to the situations would be more successful 3) Looking ahead - People who worry about what happened and live in the past will have challenges going forward. Rather than worrying about what could have been, learning from past experiences and moving ahead with what needs to be done now will enable businesses to cover up the past losses and grow beyond.
