Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Amit Vachhar: Previously Elegant Infotech was a Partner at IBM for providing their Ebusiness Courses. With the 9/11 happening, the number of people going to US went down drastically. Meanwhile, we got an opportunity from a friend in London about developing a website for someone in Germany. This was way back in 2003. We delivered that and noticed the potential for that. Once we got some clients in UK , the word of mouth marketing helped us develop further.

Amit Vachhar: We have a range of services that we offer starting from Web Development in Ecommerce, Static sites, Search Engine Optimization for Organic Google Listings, App Development and handling Amazon. We work in platforms like Magento, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Big OS Commerce, Bootstrap, Laravel and Angular to name a few.

Amit Vachhar: The most important differentiating factor would be our personal touch with every client and the proactive approach to every client problem.

Amit Vachhar: We have very new fly by Digital agencies that spring up every now and then. Such freelance developers whose main aim is to make a quick buck have not Quality checks . They end up doing shoddy work for the client and are not their to support the client when they need them. This has really ruined the image of the industry and also the pricing .

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Elegant Infotech?

Amit Vachhar: Elegant Infotech is based in New Delhi with a representative office in London. We have collaborations in place in Hong Kong and Singapore. We are looking to include new verticals under our company like AI and Automation. We would ideally be expanding our presence worldwide which includes having offices in Singapore and Europe.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Amit Vachhar: The Most Important thing to remember is BE HONEST AND THE LUCK WILL FOLLOW!! Your honesty shows and the trust you build with your customer always pays off.
