Interviewer:What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: Clear Objective, Passion, Clear vision and Focus are the most important tools that an entrepreneur must possess in order to grow successfully.
One must see a well-defined objective with full confidence and without any other optional thought. One single focused mind with extreme passion to achieve the final objective has indefinite power around anyone who has nothing else but one single motive, is definitely bound to succeed.
Interviewer:How did you get the idea for JSWM Productions? What was the process behind the creation of this company?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: In 2010, I happened to visit Kashmir after a very long time. I was fully aware that my birth place and the motherland had been terribly molested by militancy, politics and selfish elements reducing the most beautiful paradise to merely a blood soaked battleground. I also had the full knowledge of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, when nearly a million people had to leave their homes in Kashmir and run away in search of safety, security and shelter. But I was not aware of the terrible status of their life after the exodus. So when I visited Kashmir in 2010, I came across many refugee camps where Kashmiri Pandits were managing to survive the most miserable life one can imagine. I was touched but did not feel bad, I got just furious &felt very guilty for not being aware of what my community was going through.
At that time I was CEO of Sohar Steel PLC, Oman. I resigned and flew back to Jammu. Stayed in one of the camps, lived with the extreme misery and the innocent refugees for a few months to feel and live their sufferings. I felt completely helpless because I could not think of any solution to the problem. But I was able to decide from that point I would write and make films to showcase the present Kashmir to the entire world. So I set up JSWM productions, an independent production house. Within one year JSWM produced and released a feature length Docudrama on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits“Ziyarat”, which was eventually screened and honored in many International Film Festivals around the globe. That is how JSWM Production started.

Interviewer:What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: JSWM is a very small set up at my residence in Lavasa, but it’s a complete production house where we process the films completely from script to the finished product with no external support. The only factor which is responsible for the company performance is the quality of content. The films produced so far including my published book “Burning Sapphires” have received recognition and honour on a global level. So I would confidently say that the company has maintained a very high content quality and dedication to match the vastly competitive field
Interviewer:You provide various services. How do you make sure that you manage to deliver top notch performances in all that your company offers?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We work for ourselves. We make films for ourselves. We do not make any commercial films. Our films and documentaries based on Social Issues.
Interviewer:What are your core values? What measures do you take to stick to your core values?

Interviewer:What are your future plans in order to expand your company further? What new things do you plan to do?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We were co promoters in establishing Delhi International Film Festival in 2012. But we withdrew our partnership from the first festival immediately after the first event in December 2012 during which our partners did not adhere to our policy of integrity, honest and clarity.
We want to develop International Film Festival, Book festivals and performing arts and craft festivals in Lavasa Maharashtra.
We are working on setting up a Star care centre for those people (All Ages)
Who are unable to sustain normal life and need help in day to day living
Interviewer: You have worked with so many companies. What do you think makes your clients decide to keep coming back to you?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: The goodwill and relationships can only be maintained with honest efforts, performance, integrity, trustworthy relationships and passion.
Interviewer: How did you manage to garner such success in such a short amount of time?
Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We strongly believe that if you tread sincerely in a well-defined clear direction with complete and honest passion coming straight from your heart, the entire universe around you comes around and supports you.
